John Adams. Segundo presidente de los Estados Unidos. Tomo posesión en 1797 y fue el primer intelectual en llegar a la presidencia. Es considerado como uno de los padres fundadores del país.

Fue el primer presidente norteamericano envuelto en un conflicto bélico internacional, una casi guerra naval contra Francia. Inauguró a Washington como capital en 1789 y abrió la Casa Blanca.
